Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Rome, NY is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support following the retirement of the current SLP. This contract position extends through the current school year, with a start date as soon as possible and concluding June 6, 2026.

Responsibilities include delivering a full range of speech-language pathology services to students across all grade levels, conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with educators and families to support communication development. The role requires adherence to best practices and compliance with all applicable regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid New York State certification in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience providing speech and language services in an educational K-12 setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage caseload efficiently and maintain detailed documentation
