Job Description
The Icahn Charter Schools is currently seeking a full-time Special Education Teachers to work with IEP driven students, and students at risk.
Requirements include:
<ul>
<li>Assessing children’s skills and learning requirements</li>
<li>Designing Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs)</li>
<li>Collaborating with parents and school staff to track students’ progress</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree</li>
<li>Master's degree (preferred)</li>
<li>Must have NYS Certification in Students With Disabilities or Special Education</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills</li>
</ul>
