Job DescriptionPOSITION OVERVIEW:
The CFTSS Administrative Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in the ongoing clinical and administrative management of the CFTSS program. This position supervises a multidisciplinary team consisting of clinicians, advocates, and interns, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services in accordance with evidence-based practices. The CFTSS Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and implementing group therapy curricula, facilitating group therapy sessions, and stepping in to provide clinical support when necessary, particularly in the absence of clinicians.
This is a hybrid role, requiring the supervisor to be onsite once a week, with additional work conducted across various locations, including the Bronx community, Community Residences, and/or clinician offices. Although this position does not involve on-call duties, the supervisor must respond to crisis calls promptly, ensuring that clinical concerns are addressed quickly and that documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
The CFTSS Supervisor is also responsible for the delivery of weekly and monthly reports to the program director, monitoring and maintaining program performance, and ensuring that all service delivery is consistent with the organization’s standards of excellence.
KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (List the functions that are essential to achieve the goals):
• Directly supervises a team of clinicians, advocates, and interns within the CFTSS program, providing regular individual and group supervision sessions.
• Ensures that all clinical staff receive appropriate training, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
• Assists in the recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation of new team members.
• Oversees the development, customization, and delivery of group therapy curricula for various client needs.
• Stepping in as needed to facilitate group therapy sessions or provide clinical services in the absence of a clinician.
• Regularly monitors and ensures the quality of services provided within the program, including the completion of monthly audits and the delivery of quality improvement initiatives.
• Collects, analyzes, and reports data related to program performance and client outcomes.
• Although not an on-call role, must be available to respond to crisis calls from clients or team members in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensures that all clinical documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner.
• Oversees the completion of billing and expense reports to ensure that services are appropriately accounted for.
• Responsible for the procurement and management of program supplies, ensuring that necessary resources are available for staff and clients.
• Regularly attends and contributes to meetings, both internal and external, related to program development, client care, and community engagement.
• Facilitates and runs program team meetings to discuss goals, progress, and challenges.
• Actively engages in program outreach to promote the CFTSS program and recruit potential new clients.
• Meets with clients 1:1 or in group settings to provide clinical services or facilitate treatment plans as needed.
• Prepares and delivers weekly and monthly reports on program activities, outcomes, and performance to the Program Director.
• Completes regular job performance evaluations and provides ongoing professional development support to the team.

EDUCATIONAL / TRAINING REQUIRED:
• Clinical license including LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LCAT, or LMFT. Experience in a school or working with adolescents is strongly preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience with youth providing clinical services
• Prior experience with community outreach and advocacy work. Experience providing training and psychoeducation is preferred.
• Documented knowledge of (and experience with) the following: child and adolescent loss and bereavement; group treatment; CBT; crisis response work; and trauma-informed care. Experience working with school systems is preferred.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, independent functioning and organizational skills required, project initiation and management skills are essential
