Denture Technicians are responsible for creating removable appliances, following doctors' preferences and prescriptions, and striving to meet daily production requirements. Building the company brand of Anterior & Complex Case Specialist is always the primary consideration. This position will pour, trim, duplicate, and articulate the models.
Essential Job Functions:
- Create a solid working model by mixing stone and water and pouring into an impression made by the doctor.
- Trim models by removing rough edges and material to adjust to the proper thickness and width for use as a foundation for building the dental appliance.
- Create duplicate models by placing into a polymer, removing and then pouring a stone and water mixture into the impression.
- Articulate models using plaster to mount the top and bottom models together to simulate a patient’s bite.
- Read and follow Doctors’ prescriptions and preferences when creating models.
- Organize, prioritize, and plan workload in order to meet daily production requirements.
- Ensure work is performed according to quality standards.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
- Able to use small hand instruments
- Able to stand for up to 8 hours per day
- Communicate and work well with others
- Strong visual perception, manual dexterity and motor skills
- Strong reading comprehension skills and attention to detail
- Ability to produce within a deadline
- Responsible for carrying out daily production requirements to BonaDent Dental Laboratories Standards
- Responsible for the organization, prioritizing, and planning of daily workload
- Must be able to take constructive feedback and demonstrate the ability to adjust based on said feedback

Hours: 7:00am to 3:30pm (includes a 30 minute lunch break, flexibility and overtime as needed)
