This is a great opportunity to work in a clean, controlled environment using advanced technology to create high-performance optical coatings for defense, aerospace, and medical applications.

Position: Quality Inspector
Location: Hopewell Junction, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay: $22–$26 per hour (based on experience)
Breaks: Two paid 15-minute breaks + unpaid 30-minute lunch
Type: Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunity

Job Overview:
As a Quality Inspector, you’ll assist with the preparation and coating of delicate optical components using vacuum deposition equipment and precision inspection tools. You’ll be part of a team producing coatings that meet military and industry specifications.

Quality Inspector Qualifications:

• Interest or experience in manufacturing, optics, or electronics production
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom or lab-like environment
• Basic mechanical or technical aptitude preferred
• Willingness to learn and grow within a high-tech manufacturing setting

Quality Inspector Responsibilities:

• Carefully handle and clean optical substrates prior to coating
• Set up, operate, and monitor vacuum coating chambers and related machinery
• Perform quality inspections using spectrophotometers and other measuring tools
• Follow technical documents, blueprints, and manufacturing travelers
• Assist in maintaining equipment and ensuring a clean, well-organized work area
