Eastern Staffing & Recruiting is recruiting for an Assembler for our client in the Greene, NY area! This position will be responsible for building structures to support equipment that will be transported and delivered to businesses. This role demands precision, a deep understanding of assembly, and the ability to interpret instructions.
Responsibilities
- Perform various tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations.
- Build structures to hold equipment that will be transported.
- Read instructions and blueprints to follow directions on building structures to support machinery.
- Ability to accurately perform work based on provided instructions.
- Demonstrated success working safely and following all PPE/OSHA guidelines.
- Operate measuring and power tools.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience operating forklifts; stand up and sit down.
- Proven experience in the construction or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to operate measuring and power tools.
- Self motivated.
- Professional verbal communication skills and customer service.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail/accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, diverse environment while managing multiple tasks.

The estimated hourly salary range for this position is $20 per hour, though a candidate's salary will be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience.
