Job Details:

We are currently seeking an accomplished, detail-oriented, and highly proficient Legal Secretary specialized in Litigation/Labor & Employment. This role requires a motivated individual who can efficiently manage a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive secretarial support to attorneys, including drafting and editing legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
  • Manage case files and documentation, ensuring all relevant information is current, accurate, and well-organized.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, court dates, and deadlines, ensuring all parties are informed and prepared.
  • Handle the creation, editing, and management of complex PDF documents, including the manipulation of multiple legal files.
  • Prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines efficiently and effectively, ensuring all work is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times, handling sensitive legal information with the utmost professionalism.
  • Liaise effectively with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals, providing excellent customer service and fostering strong working relationships.
  • Assist with research and preparation for trials, depositions, and hearings.
  • Handle administrative tasks as needed, including answering phones, managing emails, and maintaining office supplies.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Secretary, with a focus on Litigation/Labor & Employment law.
  • Proficient in PDF manipulation and other legal document management software.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals.
  • Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality of work.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and legal document formatting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
