*** New Opportunity for HYBRID Certified Nursing Assistant Training Class ***
Hybrid (part online and part onsite)
- 3-Week Hybrid On Site and Virtual C.N.A. Training Class
- You will need access to a laptop, smart phone, or tablet with reliable wi-fi/internet to complete the online course work and to watch the CNA training videos.
- Full completion of online coursework is required
- On-site attendance for hands-on skills training and clinical hours (hours to be set by an instructor)
- Week #1 - online coursework
- Week # 2 - online coursework + onsite skills and clinical hours (Monday - Friday 7a - 3p)
- Week #3 - onsite skills and clinical hours (Monday - Friday 7a - 3p)
- During onsite skills and clinical hours (weeks 2 & 3) you will be paid at the training rate of $15.50/hour
- Upon successful completion of the training program you will be offered full or part time employment for the evening or night shifts depending on availability.
- Pay rate will increase to $19.50/hour upon successful state certification + applicable shift differentials
- Pay rate increases to $20/hr after 3 months of successful employment + applicable shift differentials
- Exam
- Upon successful completion of the training program you will be able to sit for your NYS CNA exam with Prometric
- To sit for the exam you will need to have completed all required materials and course hours
- The state exam will be held onsite, in the classroom
- All testing fees and coursework material is covered by The Wesley Community.
What will I do during CNA Training at The Wesley Community?
- Provide your assigned residents with needed routine daily nursing care in accordance with our established nursing care procedures, and as directed by your supervisors.
- Perform non-professional nursing duties related to the personal care and comfort of the residents.
- Perform services necessary for the cleanliness and care of the resident's environment, personal items, and equipment.

Certified Nursing Assistant Training Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
