Corporate Hiring Solutions is seeking a qualified NG911 GIS Analyst to support Class 1/2/3 and Call Handling upgrades for the Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) emergency call system. The consultant will provide technical expertise during configuration, implementation, and testing phases.
Scope of Services / Responsibilities
- Provide engineering assistance for controlled execution of releases into the managed production environment
- Evaluate and implement cartographic workflows supporting NG9-1-1 technical oversight
- Develop and maintain sustainable workflows for authorizing and updating map tiles
- Enforce NG9-1-1 GIS compliance across the full workflow, including LVF/ECRF creation through call-taking
- Perform geospatial transformations and spatial analysis in coordination with other NG9-1-1 workstreams
Mandatory Skills and Experience
(Candidates who do not meet all mandatory requirements will not be considered)
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as a GIS Analyst using ArcSDE and SQL Server
- Proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS software, including ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Online
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret geospatial and spatial data
- Experience analyzing tasks, structures, and requirements to develop effective GIS solutions
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Map design and cartographic presentation skills
- Experience producing maps for varied operational and stakeholder needs
- Technical writing experience documenting GIS processes and methodologies
- Ability to quickly learn new tools, concepts, and technologies
