Saratoga Medical is hiring a Respite Care/Home Health Aide - Level IV in Manhattan, NY & Brooklyn, NY. Package includes competitive rate, paid time off and benefit options.

Saratoga Medical has an exciting opportunity for a Respite Care/Home Health Aide - Level IV at Manhattan, NY & Brooklyn, NY. This is a great full-time opportunity, 36 - 40 hours work week schedule, Monday to Friday, excluding Federal holidays. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Respite Care Provider (Level IV) to support children, youth, and adults with special needs, including those requiring specialized medical care. In this role, you'll assist with daily living activities, provide emotional and behavioral support, and perform medical tasks such as medication administration, feeding tube care, and tracheotomy suctioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support daily activities including feeding, dressing, hygiene, and mobility
  • Administer medications and operate specialized medical equipment (e.g., feeding pumps, suction devices)
  • Provide care for individuals with complex medical conditions
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with families and care teams
  • Ensure safety and compliance with all regulations

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in special needs care (or relevant degree/certification: CNA, LPN, RN)
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • TB test clearance and ability to pass background checks
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, empathetic demeanor
