A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN APPRENTICE HVAC TECHNICIAN - PLUMBER
As a full- or part-time Apprentice HVAC Technician - Plumber, your day begins at our Poughkeepsie, NY location, where you will meet with the team before heading to various service sites across Dutchess County. Under the guidance of seasoned technicians, you will assist with installing, servicing, and maintaining systems and fixtures. In addition, you will help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the company vehicles, manage inventory, and ensure all tools and equipment are in top condition. Occasionally, you may assist with after-hours emergency services, gaining valuable experience in different scenarios.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN APPRENTICE HVAC TECHNICIAN - PLUMBER
- Clean driver's license (licensed for 3 years or more)
- OSHA 10 certification
- Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment
- Experience in plumbng, HVAC, or related trades
Preferred Qualifications:
- EPA 608 certification
- Having your own trade-related tools
WORK SCHEDULE
This apprenticeship offers both full-time and part-time options, with typical work hours from 7:30 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. Occasional after-hours work may be required for emergency services.
