JOB TITLE: Maintenance Technician
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing equipment and facilities to ensure smooth and safe operations. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as a part of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and building systems to ensure operational efficiency.
· Diagnose and trouble shoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues while implementing timely and effective solutions.
· Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities, following established schedules and procedures.
· Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and machinery.
· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs and parts used.
· Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
· Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools, reordering as necessary.
· Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
· Collaborate with other departments to support facility needs and improvements.
Required Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or a similar maintenance role.
· Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
· Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints and schematics.
· Skilled in the use of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment
· Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
· Strong organizational and time-management skills.
· Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
· Basic computer skills for record-keeping and work order management.
· Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting, climbing, and working in various conditions.
