Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications accurately, ensuring patient safety at all times
- Collaborate effectively with team members in a step-down unit setting
- Manage patient care within designated nurse-to-patient ratios: 3:1 in step-down, 5:1 during day shifts, and 7:1 during night shifts
- Participate in team nursing with ratios of 8:2 during the day and 10:2 at night
- Utilize ACLS protocols and techniques
- Engage in physical demands including pushing, pulling, and lifting as part of patient care duties
- Communicate clearly and efficiently with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with step-down or critical care nursing experience
- Proficient in ACLS certification and emergency response
- Strong ability to perform patient assessments and develop effective care plans
- Skilled in medication administration and management
- Demonstrated teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Physical capability to perform necessary lifting and movement of patients or equipment
