Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field, active Deaf & Hard of Hearing (DHH) certification, and 1+ years Deaf & Hard of Hearing Specialist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Part-Time DHH Teacher Scarsdale, NY Area
Soliant Education is now hiring a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Teacher for a part-time position serving students in grades 37 near Scarsdale, NY for the 20252026 academic year.
Details:

Caseload: 6 students total (3 direct services, 3 consults)

FTE: Approximately 0.1 (part-time)

Grades: 3rd7th

Setting: Onsite in public school buildings
Key Duties:
-
Deliver instructional services based on students IEPs
-
Provide guidance and resources to general education teachers and staff
-
Support students munication access and classroom participation
-
Monitor progress and adapt instruction as needed
Qualifications:
-
Valid NY State certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Prior experience in a K12 setting preferred
-
Strong munication and collaboration skills
-
Must be willing to work onsite; this is not a remote role
