We’re looking for a caring and energetic Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team and help us provide exceptional care and learning experiences for our youngest learners.

Your Daily Adventures Will Include:
- Creating a Safe and Nurturing Environment: Foster a warm and welcoming classroom where children feel secure to explore, grow, and develop.
- Engaging in Play-Based Learning: Implement age-appropriate activities that inspire curiosity, creativity, and joy.
- Building Strong Relationships: Establish trusting bonds with children and maintain open communication with families to support each child’s development.
- Tailoring Learning Experiences: Adapt lesson plans and activities to the developmental needs of each child, meeting their physical, social, and cognitive milestones.
- Documenting Growth: Observe and record developmental progress, ensuring that parents are informed and involved in their child's learning journey.
- Maintaining a Safe Space: Supervise children to ensure their safety, and maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Collaborating as a Team: Work with fellow teachers and staff to create a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Who Are We Looking For?
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field (Minimum of 12 CORE ECE Units).
- At least 1 year of experience working with young children.
- Familiarity with early childhood curricula, such as Exploration Curriculum & Units of Study.
- Creativity, enthusiasm, and a passion for fostering early learning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families effectively.
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude toward young learners.
- Ability to meet state and licensing requirements for this position.
- Ability to commute to the location at 345 Adams St. Brooklyn, NY 11201
Bonus Points For:
- A valid NYS B-2 Teaching Certificate.
- Knowledge of additional languages.
