Occupational Therapist

Job Description

A well-established and growing healthcare organization located in New York is seeking to immediately hire a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join its dedicated outpatient team in Astoria and Woodhaven. This is an excellent part-time evening opportunity (4:00 PM – 8:00 PM) with strong potential to transition into a full-time position as the practice continues to expand.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans,
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve fine motor skills, strength, coordination, and activities of daily living (ADLs),
• Treat patients recovering from injury, surgery, and neurological or orthopedic conditions,
• Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams,
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and adaptive strategies,
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards, and
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a supportive outpatient environment.

Job Qualifications:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program,
• Active New York State Occupational Therapist license,
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
• Experience in an outpatient or clinical setting (pediatric or adult experience welcomed),
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly compensation ranging from $45 to $60 per hour, based on experience,
