Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A travel opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist to support a specialty pharmacy focused on oncology treatments. This role is based in Troy, NY, with collaboration extending to providers, clinical staff, and support teams to ensure seamless patient care. The position involves both clinical pharmacy duties and dispensing responsibilities within a newly established specialty pharmacy.

Key responsibilities include managing prescription volumes averaging 50 per month, working closely with oncology providers and pharmacy teams, and assisting with prior authorizations and financial assistance processes. Effective communication and coordination with transportation and other support services are essential to optimize patient medication delivery and care.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Licensed Pharmacist in New York State
  • Experience in specialty pharmacy practice
  • EPIC electronic health record system proficiency (mandatory)
  • Oncology pharmacy experience preferred, but not required
  • Familiarity with oral oncology medications is a plus

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical knowledge, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to navigate complex medication regimens within a collaborative healthcare environment.

This travel assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and will last for approximately eight weeks with potential extensions.
