Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in New Hartford, NY is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential speech therapy services during a contract assignment through the end of the 2025-2026 school year. This opportunity supports a smooth transition as the current SLP retires and requires a dedicated professional to deliver comprehensive support across all grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct speech therapy services to students with a variety of speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and state regulations

Qualifications:

  • Valid New York State certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (all required NY certs must be current)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working with K-12 populations in school settings
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
