Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist, Licensed and CFY

Location: Early Intervention Center

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at the Early Intervention Center. The ideal candidate will work with young children to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders, providing support to enhance communication skills and overall development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs.

- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to support children's communication development.

- Provide therapy sessions in a group setting, utilizing evidence-based practices.

- Monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

- Educate families on strategies to support speech and language development at home.

- Participate in team meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary collaboration.

Skills and Qualifications:

- New York State licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.

- Completion of a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

- Experience working with young children, particularly in an early intervention setting, is preferred.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

- Compassionate and patient approach to working with children and families.

- Knowledge of developmental milestones and early childhood education principles.

Requirements:

• New York State licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
