A well-established law firm is looking for a Corporate Attorney to join their dynamic legal team in either Rochester or Buffalo, NY. This role is ideal for mid-level attorneys with a solid foundation in transactional work. Candidates should bring at least 1-7 years of legal experience, particularly in M&A and general corporate matters.
The position offers a stimulating professional environment where you will be responsible for handling complex corporate transactions, negotiating and drafting a range of agreements, and advising clients on general business operations and corporate governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute M&A transactions
- Advise clients on a variety of corporate and business matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents
- Provide strategic legal guidance to corporate clients
Required Skills:
- At least one to seven years of significant transactional experience
- Must be or willing to become New York State barred
- Strong experience in mergers and acquisitions
- General corporate law expertise
- Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills
