Job Description Registered Dental Hygienist
Part Time
Tuesday 10am-7pm
Wednesday 10am-7pm
Saturday 8am-2pm (every other Saturday, September-June)
We are seeking an experienced, patient focused, highly motivated hygienist to join our dental team. You must be proficient with periodontal therapy, sealants, impressions, x-rays, zoon whitening, patient management, and give local anesthesia.
You must be as passionate about your profession as we are. Most importantly, you must be a team player.
Key Tasks:
Provide dental health education about tooth care and diet
Treat and help prevent gingivitis and periodontitis
Ensure that sterile conditions are maintained
Clean and sterilize all equipment and working surfaces to the required standards at the end of each session
Maintain patient dental records; update all medical records as necessary
Take all reasonable methods to ensure patient comfort
Requirements:
3 years experience
Current NY State Dental Hygiene License
Current NY State License to administer Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen analgesia
