CMM Programmer – Aerospace & Defense
Location: Buffalo (East Aurora), NY
Type: Full-Time, Onsite
Salary Range: Up to $42 hourly + comprehensive benefits

What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement CMM programs using Zeiss Calypso and PolyWorks for precision inspection.
- Prepare electronic code and detailed inspection instructions for numerical-controlled (N/C) equipment.
- Ensure compatibility of engineering drawings, design data, and fabrication methods with CMM capabilities.
- Provide training and guidance to machinists, quality auditors, and technicians on CMM operation.
- Resolve CAI system compatibility issues and support Manufacturing Engineers with measurement and process improvements.
- Apply advanced GD&T principles and manufacturing knowledge to evaluate designs and resolve inspection issues.
- Create solid models using CAD systems as needed.
What You Bring
- Associate degree (or equivalent) in a technical field.
- 5+ years of manufacturing and inspection experience.
- 3+ years of CMM inspection/programming experience.
- Advanced knowledge of GD&T, manufacturing processes, and metrology.
- Experience with Zeiss Calypso and PolyWorks strongly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, technical communication, and attention to detail.
