Blonsky Family Chiropractic is a modern, Woman led, Chiropractic Practice specializing in individualized hands-on care for our patients. We pride ourselves on giving our patients the time and care they need, providing compassion to humans of all shapes, sizes, color, creed, and gender identity. We’re spa-like but very therapy focused, and believe Massage and Chiropractic can improve patient outcomes immeasurably.

We are psyched to be growing into our newly renovated 4000 sq. ft. facility on Monroe Avenue! We're adding a Yoga/Class space where we will be looking to host inclusive Yoga, LGBTQIA+ Events, and more!

Overview

We are looking to find Massage Therapists who have our same patient-first mentality. To help us fill our new massage space with the same sort of care and compassion that we've filled our current space with. As a member of our team, you'll provide therapeutic massage treatments to our patients, and yours. We might ask you to hop in on a patient for a minute, but beyond that, we encourage our patients to schedule minimum half-hour appointments because we know that’s what both your skills and the patients deserve. We strive to create an environment where you can provide your best care to our patients, and to yourself.

How it will work

• We will work together to pick one to five days that you’d like to be available to Schedule Online. You come in for those days, so that people can schedule last-minute appointments online.

• You’ll be paid for these days every week. If you’re sick, you get paid. If you need a mental health day, you get paid.

• You will earn commission on every appointment, if the commission adds up to more than you’re being paid hourly, then you’ll earn that instead

• Currently we charge $100 per hour for massage

• You receive 40% of that as commission

• You will also earn tips.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed assessments of new Massage Patients, with an eye towards anatomy, individual patient needs and medical history

• Create Individualized treatment solutions

• Maintain records of patients, with pertinent Patient needs and preferences

• Administer massage care including Trigger Point Therapy and Deep Tissue Massage, along with whateverTherapeutic Massage techniques you bring to the table (pun intended!)

• Refer internally to the Chiropractor (or other future providers)

• Prep and turn-over rooms on a needs basis

• Help keep the laundry flowing, folded, etc. (we have enough stock that usually you won’t run out as long as everyone is doing their part)

Qualifications

• Valid Massage Therapist license in New York State

• Nerd for Anatomy, physiology, and occupational health

• Ability to pass records to the Doctor for Chiropractic treatment, and take notes/direction according to the needs/health of the patient

• Real Communication skills - not, corporate jargon, real human communication, we won't ask you to synergize your deliverables

• Willingness to grow skills under our Senior Massage Therapist
