Description:
A facility in Saratoga, NY is looking for a Medical Surgical (MS) Registered Nurse (RN). Acute Care Setting. Must have 2 years acute hospital nursing experience and current New York State license required. Must have Basic Life Support (BLS). Guaranteed Hours will be 36hrs. Must have prior travel experience. The population is adult and geriatrics primarily including medical patients and post-surgical (ortho, bariatric, spine, general etc.) patients. ** Must be willing to float. Every other weekend/holiday. MUST have EPIC experience. **Will need to complete an on-site ECG exam that is closed booked and timed. Study material will be provided. **THE FACILITY CAN CANCEL UP TO 5 SHIFTS PER CONTRACT. **THIS UNIT WILL NOT ACCEPT TRAVELERS FROM THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES IN NY: WARREN, WASHINGTON, FULTON, MONTGOMERY, RENSSELAER, SARATOGA, SCHENECTADY, COLUMBIA, GREENE, DUTCHESS, ULSTER , ALBANY.**
Requirements:
At least two years recent experience in field, current BLS certification, and a current nursing license per the state of assignment.
