Seeking young, dynamic Multilingual (English/Hindi/Punjabi) Assistant Project Manager cum Engineer in Construction Industry to be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve, including but not limited to scheduling, planning, resourcing, site supervision, and managing all the technical activities aimed at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned Construction projects
- Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
- Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.
- Perform overall quality control of the work (schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
- Assign responsibilities and mentor project team
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
Skills
- Proven working experience in Construction Industry
- AutoCAD ,Bluebeam a Plus.
- MS Project /PrimaveraP6 will be Required. Must be capable to learn
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
- Project management and supervision skills
- Decision making ability and leadership skills
- Time management and organization skills
- BS degree in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
Must have Car/Vehicle and ability to drive through in NY Tri state area.
OPT /H1B /PERM filing can be provided for deserving candidates
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Competent , based on profile and capabilities
Schedule: M-F , Weekends as may needed
Education:
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
- Project management: 1 year (Preferred)
- Construction Project Managers: 1 year (Preferred)
