Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, the Stock Clerk is responsible for
Custodial services including floors, walls, ceiling, windows, and rugs. Operate related cleaning equipment (i.e. buffer, vacuum).
Dusting and moping all areas, including refuse removal.
Cleaning restrooms and offices.
Pick up and deliver mail, money, banking deposits, and change as scheduled.
Receiving and place in storage all products according to standard warehouse practice. .Assemble orders per unit requisitions.
Load trucks and deliver orders to respective, designated areas.
General maintenance of Commissary vehicles including engine fluid checks, cleaning, washing, and waxing. Report mechanical problems to supervisor.
Observe all NYS traffic laws both on campus and off campus.
Responsible for friendly, helpful service to their internal customers.
Maintain personal appearance and hygiene within stated Auxiliary Services and governmental guidelines.
Perform duties in accordance with established safety practices.
Perform other similar or related tasks.
Required Qualifications: A High School Diploma or GED. Ability to lift 75 pounds. A valid NYS class "D" driver's license to operate your employer's trucks, vans, and automobiles. Insurable on an unrated, non-pool basis in a company authorized to do insurance in New York State. Equivalent military education and experience will be considered.
