We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Junior and Senior Electrical Estimators to join our team in NY and NJ. The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical construction projects, ranging from commercial and residential to industrial jobs. This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of electrical systems, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities:

Analyze project drawings, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate material and labor estimates.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather pricing and cost information.

Use estimating software (e.g., Accubid, McCormick, Bluebeam, or similar) to develop detailed estimates.

Prepare and present bid proposals and change orders.

Maintain current knowledge of local codes, market conditions, and material pricing in Connecticut.

Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes for completeness and competitiveness.

Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as required.

Track and update project costs and forecasts throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:

Minimum 3–5 years of electrical estimating experience, preferably in commercial or industrial settings.

Strong proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and construction documents.

Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.

High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Salary up to $140k+ including fully paid company medical/dental/401 k match
