Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Bronx, NY 10461
Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift
Shift Hours: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
Pay Rate: $65 – $68 per hour
Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a qualified and experienced CT Technologist to support overnight imaging operations at a healthcare facility in the Bronx, NY. The CT Technologist will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, compliance with regulatory standards, and optimal image quality.
Key Responsibilities

Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and established imaging protocols

Prepare patients for CT procedures, explaining exams and ensuring patient comfort and safety

Operate CT imaging equipment and related diagnostic tools effectively

Administer contrast media in compliance with NYS regulations and facility policies

Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to adverse reactions

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in imaging systems

Ensure proper radiation safety practices and adherence to ALARA principles

Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other clinical staff to support diagnostic accuracy

Maintain cleanliness and functionality of CT equipment and work areas

Comply with all facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Required Skills & Experience

At least one (1) year of hands-on experience as a CT Technologist

Proven experience operating CT scanners and associated imaging equipment

Strong understanding of CT procedures, patient positioning, and safety protocols

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education Requirements
-
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist training program, including approved Military Training (if applicable)
Certifications & Licensure
-
ARRT Post-Primary Certification in Computed Tomography

New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH) Radiologic Technologist – Diagnostic with Injection

BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
