Job Summary:We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of complex electrical systems. This role involves defining requirements, architecting solutions, and driving execution across multiple project phases. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical leader, collaborating across engineering disciplines and acting as a key point of contact with senior management and customers.
Key Responsibilities:

  1. Establish requirements for complex electrical design projects and ensure critical features are incorporated from the beginning.
  2. Architect and lead the design of advanced electrical systems from concept through final inspection.
  3. Oversee all phases of assigned projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and performance standards are met.
  4. Develop and implement technical and quality improvements to existing designs.
  5. Create and document innovative programs, technologies, and methodologies for use by hardware teams.
  6. Provide expert technical leadership across multiple engineering disciplines and program management areas.
  7. Define and, when necessary, design new tools to solve complex technical problems.
  8. Foster collaboration with other engineering functions and build strong cross-functional relationships.
  9. Make strategic decisions regarding methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to deliver results within broadly defined practices.
  10. May lead or coordinate the work of other engineers or technical personnel.
  11. Serve as a key representative in interactions with senior customer personnel and management, often performing project leadership duties.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with proven success in leading complex projects.
  3. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and interface with senior management and customers.
  4. Strong problem-solving skills and experience designing innovative tools or solutions.
  5. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in a dynamic engineering environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in hardware development across multiple platforms or industries.
  2. Familiarity with regulatory standards and quality systems.
  3. Prior experience in mentoring or supervising junior engineers.
