We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Home Health Aide to provide 1:1 care and support for a resident at one of our nursing home facilities. This position also includes escorting patients to and from their appointments, ensuring the residents' safety and comfort throughout. As an HHA, you will assist clients with their daily living activities, providing the necessary support they need to thrive.

Hourly Rate: $20 to $21

Pay Period: Sunday to Saturday

Pay Schedule: Weekly, Every Thursday via Direct Deposit

Responsibilities

  • Escorting patients to doctor appointments
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
  • Help clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication reminders, and housekeeping tasks.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
  • Monitor clients' physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to the supervising nurse or agency.
  • Follow care plans as established by healthcare professionals, ensuring all guidelines are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care and progress.
  • Adhere to safety and infection control protocols while providing care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Home Health Aide training program.
  • Current certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or home care setting is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Basic understanding of client care procedures and safety protocols.
