Job DescriptionPosition: Nurse Practitioner – Urgent Care (3 Days/Week)
Location: Manhattan, New York
Schedule: Flexible – Full-Time or Part-Time (3 Days/Week Available)About the OpportunityA highly respected and well-established healthcare organization in Manhattan, New York is actively seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join its growing urgent care team. This opportunity is hiring due to growth and expansion and is ideal for experienced providers looking to work in a traditional urgent care setting that values clinical quality and work-life balance.With a flexible schedule—you’d work just three days a week—this role allows providers to focus on delivering exceptional care while maintaining personal flexibility. The organization is committed to providing high-quality, walk-in medical care to patients of all ages.Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage a wide range of urgent and non-emergent medical conditions

  • Perform in-office procedures including suturing, splinting, wound care, incision & drainage

  • Order and interpret labs and diagnostic imaging

  • Prescribe medications and coordinate follow-up care

  • Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care

  • Accurately document patient encounters in EMR

  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams for optimal outcomes

Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted or eligible New York State Nurse Practitioner license

  • National Board Certification (FNP or AGNP)

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in urgent care or emergency medicine

  • Skilled in urgent care procedures

  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced setting

  • Comfortable seeing patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics
