Column Technical Services is seeking a collaborative and consultative Workday Security Administrator to lead the governance, monitoring, and support of Workday application security. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with security policies and controls while enabling secure and efficient HR, Payroll, Reporting, and Integration processes. You'll serve as the subject matter expert for Workday security configuration, partnering with cross-functional teams and Information Security Officers to design, implement, and maintain robust security frameworks. Responsibilities:
• Own and manage end-to-end Workday security administration.
• Monitor and audit security configurations to ensure the production tenant remains secure, stable, and compliant.
• Lead security design efforts and provide expert consultation on best practices across Workday modules.
• Review, approve, and process Workday security requests.
• Develop and maintain internal control procedures and documentation.
• Maintain comprehensive records of Workday security configurations.
• Conduct impact analyses for Workday releases and change requests.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to assess and implement security changes.
• Evaluate the feasibility and business impact of security configuration changes.
• Design and execute test plans based on security requirements; track and resolve defects.
• Manage incident tickets and change requests in alignment with SLAs and change control protocols.
• Perform mass data loads using Workday EIBs.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity (e.g., user roles, access assignments).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 3–5 years of experience in HR systems administration.
• Strong working knowledge of Workday Security, including HCM and Payroll modules.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Exceptional communication skills—able to convey complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working with diverse project teams across organizational levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Background in the healthcare industry.
• Experience with Workday Reporting and Integrations security.
• Familiarity with audit and compliance frameworks.
Preferred Education:
-Bachelor's degree, experience in lieu of degree.
