seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and provide
essential support to students in NYC Department of Education (DOE) schools. With a
critical city-wide shortage of related service providers, your expertise is urgently
needed to help students overcome communication barriers and achieve academic

As an SLP with Knowledge Road, you will have the autonomy to deliver individualized
therapy using evidence-based practices, working collaboratively with school teams
and families to support student communication development.
Responsibilities
As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Knowledge Road, you will:

Provide direct, high-quality speech and language therapy services to students in
both individual and group settings, as mandated by their Individualized
Education Service Programs/Individualized Education Programs (IESP/IEP).
Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose and evaluate speech,
language, voice, and fluency disorders.

Develop and implement creative and effective treatment plans tailored to the
unique needs of each student.

Collaborate closely with parents, teachers, and other school professionals to
create a holistic and supportive learning environment.

Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of all services, progress, and
outcomes in compliance with DOE and Knowledge Road standards.

Actively participate in IESP/IEP meetings, offering expert insights and
recommendations to guide student progress.
Qualifications
Must-Have:

Current NYS license in Speech-Language Pathology.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-
-
Hearing Association (ASHA).

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a school-based setting.

Proficiency with electronic documentation and teletherapy platforms.

NYC DOE fingerprinting and vendor status required or willingness to obtain prior
to start.
Schedule & Location
This is a full-time, school-day position in Bronx with a schedule that follows the NYC DOE
calendar. You will be providing services on-site at one or more schools in Queens, with
specific assignments based on student needs. Hours/week are driven by IESP/IEP
mandates; caseload may vary by assignment. Typically ~20-30 hours/week depending
on placements.
Compensation
This 1099 contractor role pays a tiered hourly rate based on group size from $63-$126/hr.
