Rolite Mfg. is a fast growing company located in Lancaster, NY. Due to our continued and deliberate growth we are in need of qualified Press associates in order to sustain our current work load. Rolite offers a health care plan, paid time off, competitive pay, and four day work weeks with the possibility of overtime.
Responsibilities Include:
- Operate various Presses utilizing progressive, transfer, and compound dies in order to form coiled stock into final print shape dependent on customer orders. This is often done in teams monitoring multiple presses that are guarded by a variety of sensors.
- Continuously inspect product utilizing a variety or measurement techniques such as calipers, micrometer, depth gauges, go/no-go gauges, height gauges, etc. to ensure quality requirements are met as detailed by written directives and part prints.
- Minor maintenance and machine upkeep as needed such as cleaning, monitoring lubrication levels, oiling.
- Advanced candidates will have the ability to pull die sets and start new coil strips.
- Other production duties as assigned.
Qualifications Include:
- Ability to read and write.
- Ability to utilize and understand a variety of measurement tools.
- Stand for 10+ hours per day.
- Lift 35+ pounds.
- Prior Press Operation experience preferred but not required.
