HYBRID ROLE FOR A LICENCING MANAGER. In this role, you will manage the submissions and approvals process for licensed home décor, table-top, and accessory products, working with major brands. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Product Development, and Design, while maintaining strong relationships with external brand owners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the submission, coordination, and tracking of all product and information through licensor portals from initial concept to final product submission.
- Ensure Licensing Coordinators adhere to licensor processes & guidelines, update information accurately, and meet deadlines
- Manage all license approvals; communicate with licensors and internal teams throughout the approval process, ensuring smooth workflow.
- Update and relay changes and approvals to product development, merchandising, and the art team.
- Keep internal teams (Merchandising, Product Development, Creative, and Sales) informed and updated on approval statuses.
- Manage tight timelines and ensure all product approvals are met on schedule
Requirements:
- Very organized and pays attention to detail
- Excellent verbal communication with exceptional writing skills
- Highly motivated, detail oriented
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role. Supervisory experience required.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Knowledge of PLM or Monday.com is a plus.
