We’re Hiring: Direct Support Professionals (DSP)
Locations: Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Pelham & Yonkers
Shifts: Morning, Afternoon, and Overnight
Pay Rate: $16.00/hr – $18.00/hr (Weekly Pay)
✨ About the Role
Be part of a team that makes a real impact every day! As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them live more independently and achieve their personal goals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide habilitation services as outlined in each client’s service plans (CFA, ISP, Habilitation Plan)
- Assist with daily living activities (meal preparation, personal hygiene, cleaning)
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Support clients’ preferences for community activities, work, recreation, and personal rights
- Perform other duties as assigned
✅ Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- At least 1 year of direct care experience with the developmentally disabled population
- Must stay alert and awake during shifts; basic computer skills for data entry
- Must obtain BLS Certification, TB Test, and OPWDD Orientation before starting
- Comfortable with tasks involving lifting and standing for long periods
