Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (Possibility to Extend)
Shift: Night Shift – 3×12s
Compensation: $58 Hr – $70 Hr

Job Overview

A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS/Tele RN) for a night-shift contract assignment. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care, continuous cardiac monitoring, and patient education in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and laboratory results

• Safely administer IV and oral medications, including cardiac medications

• Perform frequent physical and neurological assessments

• Accurately document patient conditions, interventions, and responses in the EMR

• Educate patients and families on medical conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal outcomes

Requirements

• Active New York State RN license

• BLS certification required

• Minimum 2+ years of recent MS/Telemetry nursing experience

• Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a night-shift acute care setting
