Job Overview: Physical Therapist - Performing Arts


Neurosport Physical Therapy a NEURO TOUR Company is seeking a Physical Therapist or Certified Athletic Trainer to join our team! If you have a passion for the performing arts and are a skilled and compassionate practitioner, this is an amazing opportunity for you. You will work full-time backstage with a Broadway or off-Broadway production, providing exceptional healthcare services to performing artists, musicians, as well as the important behind-the-scenes professionals.

Position Overview:

As an Practitioner in the entertainment industry, you'll play a central role in supporting the health and physical wellness of artists and performers with an emphasis on injury prevention.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site injury prevention and maintenance services during rehearsals and performances.
  • Conduct assessments and develop injury prevention programs.
  • Perform injury prevention and maintenance treatments under the direction of a Neurosport Medical Director.
  • Participate in Injury Prevention Workshops and Assessments
  • Collaborate with Neurosport’s team of Physical Therapists and Athletic Trainers.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree or higher in Physical Therapy or Athletic Training.
  • Current licensure as an Athletic Trainer or Physical Therapist
  • Preferred experience working within dynamic environments, preferably in the entertainment, sports, or performing arts sectors.
  • Exceptional communication skills and confidence to connect effectively with diverse artists, performers, and creative individuals.
  • Adaptability to the unique demands of the entertainment industry.
  • A profound passion for the performing arts and a dedication to enhancing the well-being of entertainers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Negotiable

Schedule: The PT schedule is 40 hours per week and follows the performance schedule which typically spans 6 days.
