Position Title: RN Instructor (Bilingual Spanish / English)

Location: Yonkers/Westchester/Bronx

Position Type: Per Diem

Reports to: Director of Patient Services

Position Summary:

The RN Instructor is responsible for the delivery of comprehensive training programs to assist students get the PCA Certification in accordance with DOH regulations. The position will require both hands and classroom training.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the orientation, teaching and evaluating of DOH Approved PCA Certification courses.
• Assess students through exams, demos, and clinical evaluations
• Training, inspiring, and motivating others to provide exceptional home care
• Developing, coordinating, and conducting the Home Health training program, and in-service training programs
• Maintaining a training program that is following quality management, department of health and safety standards.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be a valid Registered Nurse licensed in New York State, preferably with two (2) years' experience.
• 1 year of home care experience required.
• Must be bilingual Spanish/English - proof of language proficiency will be requested
• Previous experience as RN Instructor
• Must be able to commute occasionally to Queens when needed.

Work Location:

• In Person in Westchester, Yonkers, and Bronx
• Requires flexibility to accommodate class schedules to course completion

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to commute occasionally to Queens when needed.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to carry, lift, push or pull at least 20lbs
