Location: New York City, NY 10037
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $70–$74 per hour (W2)
Position Summary
A healthcare organization in New York City is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Nurse Educator to support clinical education and staff development, with a primary focus on Perioperative and Operating Room (OR) environments.
The Nurse Educator will leverage strong clinical expertise to support nursing staff through education, training, and competency development, helping ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities

Provide clinical education and support for nursing staff, with a focus on Perioperative and OR settings

Assist with onboarding, training, and competency validation for nursing personnel

Support clinical best practices and evidence-based care standards

Collaborate with leadership and clinical teams to identify educational needs

Participate in education planning and documentation
Required Skills & Experience
-
Minimum 2 years of experience supporting Perioperative and/or Operating Room (OR) settings

Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) nursing experience

Solid clinical background with strong teaching and communication skills
Education

Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program
Certifications & LicensureRequired

Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license

Primary Source Verification of RN license and registration through the New York State Department of Education (NYSED)

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
