Position Overview
The Junior Bridge Engineer will assist in the design and analysis of bridge structures, contributing to various phases of engineering projects. This role aims to support senior engineers in creating safe, innovative, and efficient bridge designs while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and analysis of bridge structures using CAD software.
- Conduct site visits to gather data and assess conditions for bridge projects.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop project plans and specifications.
- Support the preparation of engineering reports and documentation.
- Perform material selection and testing for bridge construction.
- Participate in project meetings and coordinate with various stakeholders.
- Utilize engineering principles and analysis techniques to solve design challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with CAD and AutoCAD software for engineering design.
- Knowledge of bridge design principles and materials science.
- Basic understanding of project management and construction methods.
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of engineering principles.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of transportation engineering and soil mechanics is a plus.
