9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (60-minute break)

Alternate PRN Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $23/hour
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to support adult dental and oral surgery procedures in a fast-paced clinical setting. This role is essential in ensuring smooth patient flow, maintaining clinical efficiency, and delivering safe, high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have hands-on chairside experience and be comfortable working in a surgical dental environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Support

Provide chairside assistance during oral surgery and general dental procedures.

Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials prior to procedures.

Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control standards.

Anticipate provider needs to ensure efficient workflow.

Deliver post-procedure care instructions to patients.
Patient Care
-
Escort and prepare patients for examination and treatment.

Obtain and document medical history and vital signs as required.

Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.

Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality throughout the visit.
Documentation & Administrative Duties

Document patient information accurately using EPIC EMR.

Maintain complete and compliant patient records and procedure notes.

Support scheduling and patient flow coordination within the clinic.
Equipment & Sterilization

Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments in accordance with protocols.

Maintain operatories and ensure equipment is functioning properly.

Monitor inventory levels and restock clinical supplies as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
-
High School Diploma or GED.
-
Minimum of 1 year of chairside Dental Assistant experience.

Experience using EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Preferred:
-
Completion of a Certified Dental Assisting Program.
