Adjunct Faculty Position for Biological Principles
The Natural Sciences Division at Mount Saint Mary College seeks qualified individuals to teach Biological Principles I lab, beginning Fall 2025, but also with the possibility of an ongoing basis. This course is the first of a two-course introductory biology sequence for science majors emphasizing the chemical and cellular basis of life. Lab activities involve inquiry-based experiments, data analysis, and student presentations. Previously developed lab modules will be available for use. This course is offered Tuesday afternoon during the traditional 15-week semester schedule. This course begins on August 26, 2025.
Qualifications include: A Master’s degree or higher is required in biology or a related field, or in education. Previous teaching experience is preferred. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. All offers of employment are contingent upon a satisfactory background check.

$2640- $3120 per contract.
