Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist Supervisor (SLP) with strong credentials is needed to oversee a Clinical Fellowship experience for a Speech-Language Pathologist in a K-12 school setting in the Bronx, NY. This contract position offers an opportunity to guide and support a new professional in developing clinical skills within pediatric school-based therapy.
Key Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working in healthcare, pediatrics, and school settings as an SLP
- Proven leadership and mentorship skills in clinical supervision
- Ability to dedicate approximately 12 hours per quarter to supervision, with the possibility of additional hours if desired
Location:
- Bronx, New York
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct supervision to an SLP in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), ensuring adherence to professional standards and best practices
- Conduct regular observations, evaluations, and feedback sessions to support clinical skill development
- Collaborate with school staff to facilitate the clinical fellows integration into the educational environment
- Maintain clear documentation related to supervision and fellowship progress
