We are seeking a Lead Front Desk Receptionist to take charge of front office operations across our 5+ orthodontic practices in Brooklyn and Queens. As a senior team member, you’ll optimize patient flow, mentor junior staff, and ensure seamless scheduling and insurance processes—all while creating a welcoming, stress-free experience for our patients.

What You’ll Do:
✔ Oversee and manage patient scheduling across multiple locations, ensuring provider efficiency and patient satisfaction using Dentrix Ascend, Open Dental or similar software.
✔ Lead front office operations, streamlining patient check-in/check-out, documentation accuracy, and workflow coordination.
✔ Be the primary point of contact for patient inquiries, providing clear and compassionate communication regarding treatments, financial policies, and appointment logistics.
✔ Maintain meticulous patient records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
✔ Train and mentor junior receptionists and administrative staff, fostering a culture of professionalism and exceptional service.
✔ Optimize scheduling strategies to maximize provider productivity while keeping wait times minimal.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ 5+ years of experience in dental reception, front office administration, or a similar senior role.
✔ Expert proficiency in dental office software (Dentrix Ascend, Eagle soft, Open Dental).
✔ Strong leadership skills, with the ability to train, mentor, and oversee front office staff.
✔ Exceptional problem-solving abilities to handle high-volume, fast-paced environments confidently.
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm, patient-first mindset.
✔ Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively, ensuring smooth daily operations.
