Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a K-12 educational setting located in Monticello, NY. This full-time contract position extends through the current school year, from ASAP until June 2025. The role arises due to the departure of a full-time SLP, requiring immediate coverage for a diverse caseload.
Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, providing individual and small group therapy, consulting with teachers and parents, and maintaining progress records. The caseload includes students with a variety of disabilities across grades K-12. Collaboration with educational staff and active communication with families are key aspects of this position.
Qualifications:
- Valid New York State SLP license
- New York TSSLD (Teachers of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) certification
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology preferred
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion or equivalent
- Skills in school-based therapy and healthcare settings essential
