Everything we do is done onsite in Bohemia, ensuring professional, hands-on service.

We are seeking a mechanically inclined, detail-oriented individual to join our production team. If you have a passion for machines and are eager to master a high-tech trade, we want to invest in your training.

The Opportunity:

This role is ideal for someone with a mechanical background who wants to become a skilled CNC Waterjet Operator. We provide full training in machine operation and CAD software, with competitive starting pay and excellent potential for growth.

  • Starting Pay: $25.00 per hour (for no experience/training level) up to $30.00 per hour (for expert-level candidates).

  • Culture: Work closely with the owner and a dedicated team committed to quality and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Machine Operation: Safely and efficiently operate and monitor our three OMAX waterjet cutting machines to produce quick, accurate results.

  • Mechanical Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines, including necessary disassembly, troubleshooting, and repair of the high-pressure pumps and associated mechanical components.

  • CAD/Programming: Learn and utilize CAD software to prepare parts for cutting and ensure maximum material efficiency.

  • Quality Control: Inspect finished parts for precision and adherence to project specifications.

  • Shop Maintenance: Assist with general shop duties, including organizing materials, cleaning, and preparing workspaces.

Required Aptitude & Skills:

  • Mechanical Inclination: A strong mechanical background or aptitude (e.g., auto repair, machinery repair, technical training, or proven hands-on ability) is highly preferred.

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical and operational issues with machinery and pumps.

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous and committed to precision in cutting and quality control.

  • Willingness to Learn: Eager to learn CNC waterjet operation and CAD software programming.

  • Reliability: Must be dependable, punctual, and prepared to work hard in a fast-paced production environment.
