Permanent Placement Opportunity 
 
Seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team at Samaritan. As a Full Time Respiratory Therapist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our patients through the provision of high-quality respiratory services.
 
Full time- 7p-7a Shift with every other weekend.
 
Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist:
 
<ul>
<li>Maintains patient files, both paper and electronic.</li>
<li>Accurately enters data into computerized patient records and billing system.</li>
<li>Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patients age-specific needs and care.</li>
<li>Assists with the testing of EEG patients as needed.</li>
</ul>
 
 
Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist:
 
<ul>
<li>BLS</li>
<li>Must be licensed by NYS as RT or RTT to perform oxygen, CPAP or bi-level titrations.</li>
<li>1 year of RT experience</li>
<li>Polysomnography experience preferred not required</li>
</ul>
