Job DescriptionCommercial Litigation Attorney
A well-established law firm is seeking a litigation attorney with a minimum of two years of experience to join its team. Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to support active litigation matters
- Draft pleadings, briefs, motions, and other legal documents
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and execution
- Participate in court appearances, hearings, and negotiations
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and advocacy
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active New York State Bar license
- At least two years of litigation experience in commercial litigation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at a leading law firm
- Federal clerkship experience
- Participation in a law journal or legal publication during law school
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent writing skills, supported by a writing sample
- Demonstrated ability to manage cases from inception through resolution
Compensation
Annual salary range: $120,000 to $155,000+, depending on experience and other job-related factors.
