Home Health Aide (HHA) / Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in Hudson Valley
Multiple Locations Across New York
Up to $22.00/hour | Full-Time | Part-Time | Per-Diem

Qualifications

• PCA or HHA Certification (New York State required)

• Graduate of a NYS Department of Health-approved HHA program or currently enrolled under RN supervision

• At least 18 years old; ability to read and write in English

• Must meet NYS DOH physical and annual compliance requirements (PPD/QuantiFERON, TB questionnaire, chest x-ray if applicable)

• 12 hours of annual in-service training

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, feeding, and scheduling appointments

• Help with safe transfers, ambulation, and prescribed exercises under RN supervision

• Monitor and report vital signs, weight, and intake/output as directed

• Prepare modified diets and maintain accurate documentation of services provided

• Ensure a safe, clean, and healthy environment while protecting client confidentiality
